Hello and welcome to the website of the Riverton Masters Swimming Club, where adults are supported and encouraged, regardless of age or ability, to swim regularly together to keep fit and have fun doing so.
Masters Swimming is a world-wide, non-profit organisation of adult swimming clubs. In Australia, there are more than 180 clubs with around 7,000 members. There are over 30 clubs in Western Australia with around 1,500 members. The Masters Swimming motto is ‘Fitness, Friendship and Fun’.
Masters Swimming clubs are not learn-to-swim clubs – you need to be a reasonably competent swimmer, able to swim at least 50 metres freestyle non-stop unaided. However, you don’t need to be a strong or fast swimmer.
If you enjoy swimming for exercise but don’t want to swim on your own, then come along and join in! You’ll find that swimming with a group is easier and a lot more enjoyable.
